Update!

So, Brian and I are still alive LOL! We had an awesome Thanksgiving & Christmas with family and friends! Here's a few pictures of our 1st Christmas tree:

We decided that our new "family" tradition is to put up the tree together. We were kinda late putting it up (I think we finished the week of Christmas LOL) so I've extended Christmas at my house. In fact, the Christmas tree is still up as of today! We'll probably take it down within the next week or so...

So, I decided that I wanted to add some lighting to my kitchen... Brian installed some wonderful lights for me! Yes he is becoming quite the handy-man with the help of my Grandfather! Here's before and after:
